Welcome to Park Hall C.A.

 Park Hall Community Association held an Open Evening on Thursday 11 September 2014. Prospecive learners came along and had a  chat to our tutors and staff who gave advice and guidance on the wonderful courses we have on offer. The evening was a great success, with record numbers of our local community enrolling on our courses. If you were unable to attend, please call in or give us a telephone call and we will be happy to help you choose a class to suit your requirements.

The Association has been delivering adult recreation classes and hosting and developing community activities for over 39 years.  It is our vision to help you achieve, socialise, learn and be healthy.

Our classes:

Have fun, reduce loneliness, create friendship groups, help you learn new skills, give you the opportunity to mix with people who like the same things that you do, gives you a change of scenery, gives your brain a work out, helps you create a healthier lifestyle, lets you build new relationships; and allows you to look out for each other and share.


Bike Ability and Bicycle Maintenance.  Free courses for those who wish to learn to ride a bicycle, or those who are not confident in their ability on our busy roads. These are 4 week courses and will be based here at PHCA, Broadway North Centre. Bicycles will be provided FOC if required.  Please register your interest with reception .Day time courses will start 10 November, 9.15am - 11.30am.

Park Hall Community Choir - Evening Class 7-9pm Day time friday 11.00am - 1.00pm led by Louise Blackburn.  Singers and non-singers welcome.  Come along and join the fun.  £5.50 payable each week. For more information go to








Come along and join our Healthy Eating Class. This class is aimed at people who do not eat their 'five a day', love their 'fast food' and who do not like to cook.  This course is aimed at you! Only 8 places available, so book quickly. The class will start Wednesday 21 May 2014 10.00am - 12.00pm at a cost of £2.50 per class plus ingredient costs.  Learn how to cook wholesome, healthy alternatives.  Change your eating habits and save money!! This class is now fully booked.  Please register your interest with reception for next course starting January 2015.

Take Your Tablet Course. These daytime and evening classes on the use of digital hand held technology (Samsung galaxy tablets / Ipads / Hudle / kindles etc) have proved to be very popular, with our first two courses fully booked. These courses are on a 5 week rolling programme, if you wish to enrol on the next course please contact reception.


Local Honey

We now have locally produced honey for sale at £4.25 for a 454g jar.

Please note that all classes are paid for every ten weeks by either cheque or cash.  We do not currently take debit cards.  However, we are very happy for you to "try before you buy" and pay for one class to make sure it's exactly what you are looking for.
